Customize your crew (or use a randomized one) and manage their different traits, needs, and desires so they can have high morale for when it's time for battle.

Travel from port to port, trading goods, getting upgrades at shipyards, and recruiting new crew mates.  Strengthen the bond of your crew by treating them like a family, or choose to keep them in line through fear and ruthlessness. Shape your own journey, and become the greatest captain on all the seas.
